Ms. Jenneth Aquino, Social Welfare OfficerIII, representing the Regional Director Rebecca P. Geamala, DMPA presented a certificate of recognition to Don Bosco TVET Center Balamban for extending its support to DSWD by allocating manpower, free space and use of its IT Equipment for the encoding of the beneficiaries of the Social Amelioration Program of the government. Don Bosco TVET Center is represented by Fr. Brian Butanas SDB.
ARD/PD Floro Ringca inspected Don Bosco TVET Center Balamban for its readiness to conduct training during this pandemic. While awaiting for the TESDA Certificate, DB TVET Center Balamban was advised to proceed to conduct training. The Assessment Center permit will await the the LGU inspection next week.
Councilor Dondon Hontiveros took time to visit one of the Don Bosco TVET Centers in the peripheries – Don Bosco TVET Center Balamban last October 25, 2020. His visit brought a lot of joy to our staff who are basketball fans of former Cebu’s Hotshot. He donated boxes of RESCUE Alcohol to help us prepare to conduct our face to face classes as permitted by TESDA and the LGU.
Don Bosco TVET Center Balamban joined the Archdiocese of Cebu, the St. Francis of Assisi Parish, JCI Metro Cebu Uptown, AMRO and other civic minded organizations in the orientation for Bamboo Enterprise and Livelihood Program.
This will be a big step and great opportunity for networking with ecclesial and civic organizations for the eventual roll-out of the planned Bamboo Production NCII at DB TVET Center Balamban.
