The finishing works are always taking a little bit of time. The computer lab and lecture rooms on the 2nd Floor are almost done. The E- Learning Center and Data Center are already built as well as the staircases on both sides of the building. It includes also the 2 sets of restrooms under the staircases. The tool room on the ground floor has already been built. The building hopefully will be turned over during the week of St. John Bosco’s Feast day.
Sir Anthony is now facilitating the Youth Encouter (YE) to our new Batch 49.
The youth program, which is the Virac model that was started in Virac Catanduanes in 1971 founded by Msgr. Jose Sorra, the Bishop-chairman of the Episcopal Commission on youth. The program was also introduced in the Philippines, which was conducted in various parishes, schools, and diocese all over the Philippines.
The FIS TVET Centers uses the YE program as part of their Induction and Religious Program. This is usually given at the start of their training.
The ANCOP Mobile Training Van travelled to Guihulngan, Negros Oriental for the second roll out partnership with Gobal Couples for Christ ANCOP.
Ms. Jessa Sabido, one of our DBTC scholars taught basic electricity to the ANCOP beneficiaries in Guihulngan.
Enting Reyes also another scholar taught basic welding and how to use the acetylene. the end of the 10 day training, ANCOP gave the participants a certificate of completion in Basic Electricity and Basic Welding.
Mr. Ernie Estoche and Mr. Anthony Adollada were our primary instructors for Basic Welding and Basic Electricity respectively. This is another outreach partnerships to answer the call of Pope Francis to go out to the peripheries and seek the lost, the last and the abandoned.
Don Bosco TVET Center – Balamban facilitated the TEAM BUILDING of St. John Bosco Multipurpose Cooperative with the Theme: Coming Together is a Beginning, Keeping Together is a Progress, Working Together is a Success. Held at Blue Bayou Beach a& Events Place Pinamungahan, Cebu, November 19, 2022. The activity is facilitated by Sir Dominic Magdato, Miss May Jean Manigos, Miss Catherine Nacua, Fr. Brian Butanas, SDB.
St. John Bosco Multipurpose Cooperative (formerly Don Bosco Network Multipurpose Cooperative) is a longstanding partner of Don Bosco TVET since its beginnings in August 2002 for various support from Personnel, Training and Employment.
CFC ANCOP once again went to the peripheries to help the poor. and partnered with Don Bosco TVET Center Balamban to conduct Community Based Training at Barangay Hinakpan, Guihulngan City, Negros Oriental. This is the 2nd partnership with Don Bosco TVET Center Balamban.
This is a 10 day training in Basic Welding for fabrication bundled with Basic Electricity with 54 trainees.
Trusses and C-Furlins installed. Next scope of work is the roofing installation.
