Don Bosco TVET Center Balamban College Scholars were tapped to do the concreting of the floor, half wall and eventual floor tile setting of the Dining Area of the Students. The exposure will prepare the College Scholars to get their Masonry NCII amd Tile Setting NCII.

MTP Milestone
TESDA Region 7 approved the application of Bosco TVET Center Balamban for 3 qualifications for MTP namely Driving NCII, EIM NCII and SMAW NCI, and for the renewal of their MTP for SMAW NCII.
Congratulations to Fr. Brian Butanas and his hard working staff for this milestone.
The Mobile Training Program (MTP) is one of the alternative modalities in delivering quality assured TVET programs intended to address the specific needs of a community.
This is a concrete answer of Don Bosco One TVET Philippines to the challenge of Pope Francis to go to the peripheries to seek the lost, the least and the abandoned.

Don Bosco TVET Center represented by Fr. Brian Butanas joined the round table meeting of the Cebu Bamboo Industry Development Council (CBIDC) at the Philippine Southwest Construction Company (PSCC), Pondol, Balamban. This council is endorsed and supported by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).
This is in line with green initiatives being promoted by Don Bosco One TVET Philippines in response to the challenge of Pope Francisโs Laudato Si.

The Indonesia – Philippines Don Bosco Technical Education Professional Exchange Activity is happening now until November 18, 2023. This welding program aims to promote the exchange of knowledge and skills between Indonesian trainees and Filipino experts. Participants will have the opportunity to learn from Fr. Brian Butanas, SDB, Technical Director and Mr. Ernie Estoche, Technical Instructor from Don Bosco Technical Vocational Education and Training Center – Balamban, Inc.

Don Bosco TVET Balamban alumni Geram Y. Maranga, PA (Batch 45) and Robert Q. Dumagan, PA (Batch 47) graduated today in their Candidate Soldier Course. Their 4-month training was conducted at Visayas Army Training Group, TRADOC, PA, Camp Chatto, Brgy. Macaas, Tubigon, Bohol.
Both now have the initial rank of Private, detailed with the Philippine Army Engineers. They will undertake the Engineer Combat Support Operation Orientation Training (ECSOOT), a six-week specialty training designed for newly recruited soldiers who had recently finished their basic military training to familiarize with the Philippine Army’s Combat Engineer Operations Doctrine.
Pvt. Maranga is also a recipient of the Chief of Staff, Training and Doctrine Command Award for Physical Proficiency, obtaining the highest rating in the physical fitness test.
