Don Bosco TVET BalambanBatch 48 had the honor again to do some repairs to the Student’s Kitchen Extension. This was damaged during Odette when a nearby Acacia Tree fell and did damage to a part of the roof of our gymnasium and the kitchen shed.
We thank our Construction Site Supervisor Mr. William Lima. He volunteered in our center while waiting for his employment abroad. Before the pandemic he was working in construction sites in Brunei. Hopefully, he will gain employment in New Zealand once it opens it’s borders.
Technical Drafting is a universal language for people working in a construction site from the architects, engineers, construction site supervisors down to the skilled worker. Mr. Dominic Magdato is preparing B48 by teaching the foundations of drawing and reading of technical drawings.
The first group of Batch 48 students are under-going Dual Training at EZYBuild Construction Company for their Basic and Common Competencies. They will stay here at EZYBuild for 2 weeks and continue with their Core Competencies at Don Bosco TVET Center Balamban. Later on they will come back here for 3 months for their Supervised Industry Learning (SIL). Good luck dear Bosconians.
Laudato Si response of Batch 48 … Our benefactors donate food in kind and our students supplement the food donations of our benefactors by growing their own greens. Indeed Here we help the young help themselves in life.
TESDA representatives visited Don Bosco TVET Center Balamban for itsUTPRAS application for the qualification of Electrical Installation and Maintenance NC II. The TESDA representatives audited all the requirements for Documents, Tools, Equipment and consumables needed for EIM NCII. Now we just to have for the Official UTPRAS Certificate.
Another birthday celebration for one of our staff in the person of Mrs. May Jean Manigos our Registrar and Human Resource Officer. Happy birthday And May God always bless you and your loved ones.
The DB TVET Center Balamban had a double celebration for our 2 Volunteer Instructors Mr. Dominic Magdato (May 27) and Mr. Anthony Adollada (May 30). We thank them for their invaluable service to Don Bosco TVET Center Balamban as instructors and volunteers.
