Don Bosco TVET Center Balamban greets Mr. Anthony Misterio Adollado a happy happy birthday as he celebrates his 34th natal day. Anthony is one of our volunteers who acts as the Industry Liaison and Guidance Officer of the TVET Center. He is also a TESDA Accredited Trainer and Assessor.

Don Bosco TVET Center Balamban greets Mr. Dominic Magdato a happy happy birthday as he celebrates his 31st natal day. Dominic is one of our volunteers who acts as the Assistant Technical Director of Fr. Brian Butanas. He is also a TESDA Accredited Trainer and Assessor.
AC TESDA Inspection
The TESDA Team inspected the Don Bosco TVET Center Balamban for the qualifications of SMAW NCII, SMAW NCIII, GMAW NCII, FCAW NCII, GTAW NCII and DRIVING NCII as ASSESSMENT CENTER.
IEE donates ACs
International Elevator & Equipment, Inc. (IEE) is a recognized leader in design, sales, installation and maintenance of elevators and escalators in the Philippines. IEE donated 2 demo units of split type air conditioners to Don Bosco TVET Center Balamban for its supplemental program of Domestic Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (DomRAC) Servicing NC II.
Adopt a School Program
Don Bosco TVET Center Balamban together with AMRO, Philippine Dental Association (PDA), JARC, Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Balamban LGUs and other civic organizations joined in the PNP-AFP peace initiative: “Adopt a Student Program” held at the Gaas Gym on May 21, 2020.
School supplies, Bags, Bibles, Slippers were given out to selected children of Gaas donated by Gaisano, the Wives of PMA 2014, JARC and other good people.
After which were two Symposia on Drugs and another one on ending “Violence Against Women and Their Children” (VAWC).
Messages were given by difference representatives: Fr. Brian Butanas SDB, Wives of PMA 2014, DepEd, JARC and from the Rural Health Unit (RHU).
Don Bosco TVET Center Balamban set up an Information Booth, a Welding Booth, an EIM Booth and a Barber Shop to attract potential students to take up vocational courses in SMAW NCII.
This activity should lead to more linkages and networking with the LGUs and other civic organizations to promote Technical Vocational Education for the marginalized youth.
Pearl Drum Set
Big thanks to Mr. Brian Pasilan of DBTC Batch 94 for donating his Pearl Drum Set and Bass Guitar to help in Don Bosco TVET Center’s supplemental Music Program for the marginalized youth.
This is part of the wholistic technical education of Don Bosco TVET. Don Bosco TVET Center believes that a “house without music is like a body without a soul.”
A Team of Don Bosco TVET Center Balamban enrolled themselves in a Construction Supervision Training Program (CSTP). This is an Online Course sponsored by the Philippines Constructors Association (PCA), Cebu Contractors Association (CCA), Technical Vocational Center of Cebu (TechVoc Cebu) and authorized by Technical Education Skills and Development Authority (TESDA) and the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM Assured).
This is a 16 Wednesdays program which aims at preparing adult learners gain understanding of leadership and management principles to effectively lead, efficiently supervise, and safely manage their people in the construction industry.
We wish our Salesian Educators – Fr. Brian Butanas SDB, Fr. Lan Guiao SDB, Mr. Frank Amante, Mr. Dominic Magdato and Dr. Eugene Ynclino IV good luck.

Carpentry NC II
Another group of Don Bosco Tvet Center staff too the assessment in migrated Carpentry NC II at Don Bosco Boys’ Home – Training Center , Cotcot, Liloan last May 15, 2021.
Congratulations to Mr. Dominic Magdato, Mr. Jeson Roco, Mr. Frank Amante and Fr. Lan Guiao SDB who were assessed as competent in this qualification of Carpentry NC II.
PTK Master Trainers
A group of Don Bosco TVET Center – Balamban staff attended an eight day Pambansang Treyner ng Konstruksyon (PTK) – Training of Trainors (TOT) Course organized by the Philippine Construction Association (PCA).
PCA is the recognized voice of the construction industry in the country. It is a partner for nation-building, a leading exemplar for the industry here and abroad, a catalyst for change and an organization that embodies excellence and knows that prestige comes with performance.
