Shielded Metal Arc Welding NC II (SMAW NC II) Mobile Training

The SMAW NCII Mobile Training Program of Don Bosco TVET Center Balamban gives opportunities to far-flung communities of Balamban and nearby provinces and islands in Region 7 for Technical Vocational Education and Training.

The Mobile Training Program (MTP) is one of another pro-poor initiatives of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) of which Don Bosco TVET Center Balamban is a service provider.

Don Bosco TVET Center Balamban is part of the Don Bosco One TVET Philippines Network in partnership with the Germany Ministry and Don Bosco Mondo – Germany.

Don Bosco One TVET Philippines believes that if the poor youth cannot come to the TVET Center, the TVET Center goes to the peripheries like our mountain barangays.

Last January 15, 2021, Don Bosco TVET Center Balamban and CFC ANCOP Global Foundation signed a memorandum of agreement to provide to the poor youth – access to quality Technical Vocational Education specially those in the peripheries.

The Mobile Training Van of CFC ANCOP Global Foundation aside from SMAW NCII is equipped with EIM NC II, Masonry NC II and Carpentry NC II.

Graduates of this program will be eligible to receive a National Certificate Level II in SMAW NCII and Certificates of Completion (COC) in EIM NC II, Masonry NC II and Carpentry NC II. These courses bundled with SMAW NC II are skills needed for the socialized housing projects of the Couples for Christ (CFC) and the local communities
