PVS Installation

After the blessing and turn-over of the PV System at St. Louis School of Don Bosco, Fr. Lan and Mr. Orly Aparce (VP for operations of WeGen), had initial talks on a possible partnership on a PVS Installation Training with Don Bosco TVET Center Balamban in providing the Training and WeGen providing the required tools and equipment.

DB Balamban has already 2 instructors prepared with NTTC for the eventual UTPRAS registration of PVS Installation NCII. Hopefully, an in-house assessor will be prepared in the next coming months.

This is a welcomed development for our Green TVET Initiatives with the purpose of taking care of our common home following Pope Francis’ invitation in Laudato Si.

Don Bosco Commemoration

Today is the last day of the month and it is a day that we remember remember our founder St. John Bosco who died on the last day of the month of January.

Traditionally we have the kissing of the relic of St. John Bosco but due to the implementation of IATF Safety Protocols, Fr. Tass laid the Relic of St. John Bosco on the heads of our students at Don Bosco TVET Center Balamban.

The students, Staff and Salesians entrust their Tech-Voc Education under the protection of St. John Bosco – the patron of Youth.
