Possible Dual Training System at Don Bosco

Last July 1, 2021, Fr. Brian Butanas SDB visited the JARC main office in Pondol, Balamban to present the Dual Training System (DTS) for a possible partnership . The DTS is based on a German model wherein training is conducted in two venues, namely the school and its partner company or companies.

Under the DTS, the school and company will collaborate in designing the curriculum and other plans to respond to the needs of the firm. At least 40 percent of the training will done in-school and 60 percent will be provided by the company via in-plant training.

Based on a study, the DTS due to its practical training aspect, may be able to solve youth unemployment and skills gap problems in the Philippines particularly for those who have finished vocational training or high school education.
