Cathyrine Noya Nacua is one of our BTVTED College scholars at Don Bosco Technical College. She now can fabricate and do finishings of benches, tables and bar counters. The table in the picture is now ready for delivery. The bar counter was commissioned by the Salesian Community. The wood used was from the trees knocked down by Typhoon Odette last December 20, 2021.
This is part of the training cum production to supplement the Don Bosco Technical College Program.
JCI Metro Cebu Uptown is a dynamic and active organization that conducts various projects and initiatives to make a positive impact in their local community. These initiatives include educational programs, youth development projects, environmental conservation programs, and poverty alleviation projects like medical missions.
JCI Metro Cebu Uptown once again acknowledged its partnership with Don Bosco TVET Center Balamban Inc. with a plaque of “Partnership Recognition” given during their Annual Convention held last March 4, 2023 at Bai Hotel Cebu. Don Bosco TVET Center Balamban Inc. was represented by its Technical Director Fr. Brian R. Butanas and Volunteers Mr. Ernie Estoche and Mr. Anthony Adollada.
Another project of a Dialysis Center in Dalaguete, Cebu! Thanks to our consultant Doc. Illy / Doc. Eugene IV for the trust given to Don Bosco Balamban specially our Technical Director Fr. Brian Butanas of Don Bosco TVET Center Balamban! Mr. William Gardose Lima Jr. is our Special Projects Supervisor of Don Bosco TVET Center Balamban for the Construction Sector. This is another Supervised Industry Learning (SIL) Program with Diacom Company. God is good all the time!
BDO Bldg Updates 2023.03.01: The BDO Building is now ready for turnover to Don Bosco TVET Center, Balamban. The tentative dates are March 27, 28 and 29, 2023. We now awaiting for the availability of Invited guest from both parties.
This partnership is a testament to the saying “God is good all the time” and BDO’s commitment to the development of technical and vocational skills in our country.
This facility will undoubtedly have a positive impact on the lives of our students and the wider community, as they will be equipped with the necessary skills to contribute meaningfully to society.
LCP and NAP preparation. FOC cable is being peeled mid span to remove the insulation cover of FOC and to place the buffer inside the LCP, inside the buffer lies the core cable of Fiber optic. In our project we are using a 216 core Fiber Optic Cable
The LGU of Palompon, Leyte visited Don Bosco TVET Center for benchmarking. They have requested Don Bosco Balamban to be their consultant for the setting up of a TVET Center in Palompon Leyte. A lot of young people in Leyte will be helped through this tech-voc partnership.

They are in Palompon for Partnership Engagement and Assistance between the Local Government Unit of Palompon and Don Bosco TVET Center – Balamban, Cebu, in the establishment of the Palompon Tech-Voc Training and Assessment Center.

Don Bosco TVET Center Balamban Batch 49 currently on the 5km of 216 core of Fiber Optic Cable laying here in Dalaguete town proper, 500 meters more then we proceed to the next scope of work which is cable tensioning. While doing the tension on the cable, another group will place the Local Converge Point (LCP) and Network Access Point (NP) on the pole.
