TESDA virtual audit of Don Bosco TVET Center Balamban SMAW NCII Qualification.

15 students of Batch 47 received TWSP Scholarhips from TESDA. Today they are attending the TESDA Induction Program via Zoom at Don Bosco TVET Center Balamban All-Purpose Hall. Thank you TESDA for the Scholarship Grant.

Production of double decker beds for a House of Prayer in Manunggal as a source of Income (Income Generating Projects) of the students during the pandemic.

Our Cordova Students – Batch 47 got their first dose of Sinovac vaccine c/o the LGU of Cordova. This was facilitated by Mrs. Mildred Uy.

Happiest birthday to Sir Ernie Estoche. He is a volunteer Instructor at Don Bosco TVET Center Balamban and at the same time the Prefect of Discipline. He is also an assessor of TESDA.

In another wave of the Covid-19 in its evolution as the Delta Variant, Cebu City’s Hospitals has been in need of lots of blood for the many Covid patients this August. Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center (VSMMC) in collaboration with JCI Metro Cebu Uptown and Don Bosco TVET Center organized another bloodletting activity at the Don Bosco TVET Center Gym. This was a controlled group of volunteers from the Military Detachment, CLICK Squad and Batch 47 of our students. We hope that the blood collected will save many lives.

Don Bosco TVET Center Balamban took advantage of the break between training to check and repair the plant / equipment of the Center.

This new wave of Covid 19, now known as the Delta Variant is more infectious as the original virus. For months now, stock piling of PPE’s has been done by an NGO called All-Terrain Medical Relief Organization (AMRO). They have partnered with Don Bosco TVET Center Balamban in the final sealing of the PPEs for the health workers. On behalf of AMRO, Don Bosco TVET Center Balamban turned-over 200 PPEs to the Cebu Provincial Hospital in Balamban.

Batch 47 started their lessons in Technical Drawing. This comprises of two parts: 1. the basics of the lettering, alphabet of lines, geometric objects, orthographic projection and isometric. 2. Basic Autocad.
