The last batch of the SMAW NC1 – Sugbo Kahanas Season 1 scholars trained by Don Bosco TVET Center Balamban Inc., finally received their check allowance of 6,920 pesos today. They also received their toolkits (Portable Welding Machine, Auto Darkening Welding Helmet and Angle Grinder) last year.

Welders bound for UK undergo 10-day IELTS review with World English Reviews in preparation for their IELTS test – General Training, assessing their English language skills in listening, reading, writing and speaking.

IELTS General Training is required for migration to Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the UK. The test features everyday English language skills that you will need in social and workplace environments.

Don Bosco TVET Balamban welcomes this collaboration as it carry out its mission for global competence.

Concrete Finishing on the exterior and interior walls, tiling of restrooms, red cementing of the laboratories and handrails for the stairways were the program of works for the past week.

The finishing works are always taking a little bit of time. The computer lab and lecture rooms on the 2nd Floor are almost done. The E- Learning Center and Data Center are already built as well as the staircases on both sides of the building. It includes also the 2 sets of restrooms under the staircases. The tool room on the ground floor has already been built. The building hopefully will be turned over during the week of St. John Bosco’s Feast day.

Sir Anthony is now facilitating the Youth Encouter (YE) to our new Batch 49.

The youth program, which is the Virac model that was started in Virac Catanduanes in 1971 founded by Msgr. Jose Sorra, the Bishop-chairman of the Episcopal Commission on youth. The program was also introduced in the Philippines, which was conducted in various parishes, schools, and diocese all over the Philippines.

The FIS TVET Centers uses the YE program as part of their Induction and Religious Program. This is usually given at the start of their training.
