After the meeting on validation of applicants, Fr. Brian andMs Charm Balaba went to Barangay Tabunan for validation and coordination with the Barangay Offcials.
Mr. Jeson and Ms. Charm had a coordination meeting with Mam Judy of the Scholarship Program of Cebu City under the Office of Councilor Dondon Hontiveros. Ms. Charm is the scholarship focal of Don Bosco TVET Center Balamban. The scholarship is part of the Mobile Training for the Youth of the Mountain Barangays of Cebu City of which Don Bosco Balamban is the training provider.
Sir Frank Amante gives a campus orientation to Barili LGU PESO Public Employment Services Office Staff and constituents. This was after the assessment of their constituents in Driving NCII at Don Bosco.
After his Holy Mass at Barangay Tabunan, Fr. Brian Butanas with Brgy. Capt. Nerio gave the TVET Orientation to the Training Applicants and Parents of Brgy. Tabunan, Cebu City.
The applicants will be scholars of Cebu City since they belong to a mountain barangay of Cebu City.
Today, Don Bosco TVET Center Balamban started hauling the building materials needed to rehabilitate the roof of the Manunggal Chapel. Thank you to JB Rock for providing the truck for th ehauling of materials.
We are still awaiting the connection of the Electrical Power to start the welding works of the trusses and C-furlings and eventual installation of the new roof.
Now we wait for the installation of electrical power to begin the welding works.
Dr. Teotimo Doña, former Public School District Supervisor of Asturias District paid a visit to Don Bosco TVET Center Balamban to donate 5 “Lemoncito Marcots” to add to our “Laudato Si Plant Collection”
Dr. Doña is also our partner in the recruitment of TVET students from Asturias.
Some of our staff went Kabilin Nature Farms and Bamboo Center to have another day of practicum. The sessions consisted on how to prepare the bamboo for curing to prevent the local “Bokbok” problem of bamboos.
The JCI Metro Cebu Uptown visited our campus to give an orientation session about the JCI organization dubbed as “Opportunity to Impact”.
They also turned over 10 sacks of rice for their January and February monthly pledge of rice. Thank you very much and may God bless your generous hearts.
